A How-2 4 My TV Life

Oh my gosh lookie here!! I'm so excited about what I just found!

I just found me a cookbook that'll assist me in my quest to have that highly desirable tv life that I recently spoke of. I mean, it really can't get no better than THIS, can it?

At first I thought this was a gag, sort of along the lines of a book called Ted Kennedy's Water Survival Tips, or something similarly foolish. But, going with truth being stranger than fiction, I Googled it and, voilĂ , there it was on Amazon.com:

As tempting as it would be to add this compilation of 300 down-home recipes to my collection, I'm pretty happy with Mary Ann's Gilligan's Island Cookbook for right now. You ought to try the Cocoanut Creme Pie...

At the store I worked at we sold Mayberry Brand products in the dollar aisle. It included cheese biscuits and cake mixes and all sorts of shit. The tagline was something like "Just like Aunt Bee would make!" or something like that. Strange.
